Using Text Mining on Curricula Vitae for Building Yellow Pages

چکیده
This work presents a strategy to identify interest/expertise areas of professionals from analyzing their curricula vitae. A text mining technique is used to analyze the texts in the curricula and compare keywords to concepts defined in a domain ontology. The paper shows how the structure of the curriculum may be used for that purpose. The main application of the strategy is to support the construction of Yellow Pages, helping in identifying people with interest or expertise in certain areas.
